He collaborates closely with the Managing Partners, ensuring the firm’s operational efficiency aligns with strategic business objectives. Neil’s extensive expertise includes fund operations, financial management, investor communications, technology, and back-office infrastructure.
Neil brings over 20 years of experience in the European alternative investment funds sector. Before joining Venturewave in late 2021, he served as Head of Hedge Funds Trading at Banco Inversis, managing complex financial structures, overseeing portfolio valuations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He previously held senior roles at Castle Fund Administrators and Allfunds Bank, where he managed multi-billion-euro portfolios, developed internal control systems, and enhanced operational efficiency.
His earlier career includes key positions at Allfunds Bank (Grupo Santander) in Spain, Luxembourg, and Gibraltar and at HSBC Securities Services Ireland, where he focused on hedge funds, private equity portfolios, and institutional investor relations. Neil has extensive experience leading operational transformations, due diligence processes, and optimising fund operations across multiple jurisdictions.
At Venturewave, Neil works closely with the executive team to enhance investor relations, implement robust financial controls, and drive technological innovation. His expertise ensures effective alignment of daily operations with strategic investment goals, providing significant value through rigorous operational and financial oversight.
Neil graduated with First-Class Honours from Trinity College Dublin, earning both a Bachelor of Business Studies (B.B.S.) and an M.A. His leadership and expertise in fund management, compliance, and operational excellence make him integral to Venturewaves’ strategic objectives.
