Brian Martin is Managing Partner of Venturewave Capital, leading capital allocation, portfolio management, and corporate governance across the firm’s investments. Brian oversees the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing high-growth, impact-driven ventures to negotiating investment terms and actively supporting portfolio companies through strategic board roles.
Within the broader Venturewave Group, Brian also serves as a director and board member, holding multiple directorships at Venturebeam Limited, Rochtaine Limited, and Venturewave Partners Limited, where he ensures robust governance and strategic alignment. His expertise spans regulated financial services, digital innovation, and impact investing, delivering consistent and measurable results across the group’s extensive portfolio.
Previously, Brian served as Senior Vice President and Director at Blueface, successfully expanding operations across Europe, MENA, and Asia, leading critical functions including sales, marketing, and customer success. Before this, he was Director of eCeltic, an outsourced software development startup recognised by Deloitte as one of Ireland’s fastest-growing technology companies.
Brian graduated as Business Student of the Year from Trinity College Dublin, where he chaired the Trinity Entrepreneurial Society and founded its Dragon’s Den competition. He holds a Bachelor in Business Studies (B.B.S.) from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by executive education in Digital Platforms at Harvard University and a programme in Private Equity from Bocconi University.
