Stephen Whyte is the President/CEO of Vitus, an affordable housing developer based in Seattle. He is a nationally recognized expert on affordable housing and a leader in preserving and redeveloping the nation’s existing affordable housing stock.
Mr. Whyte is a member and former chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Affordable/Workforce Housing Council and is a Global Governing Trustee of that organization. He serves on the boards of the Ireland Funds; New York Philharmonic; Seattle Opera; and Up for Growth National Coalition. In spare moments, he enjoys settling in with a good book and a glass of Bordeaux, and hopes against all odds that his French will improve someday.
